Cocokind mymatcha moisture stick review!

Hey everyone!

The weather’s finally starting to cool down! I love fall, it’s my birthday season and once the leaves start falling, it means Halloween isn’t too far away! Unfortunately, with cool weather comes something not so exciting- dry skin. I’ve been breaking out all of my lotions and cuticle creams that I couldn’t use in the sticky summer heat, as well as those extra-thick, moisturizing lip balms and lip masks. One of my new favorites is a lip balm I recently purchased from the brand Cocokind, I had never tried anything from them before and I always see their products on Instagram and on blogs. This is the mymatcha all over moisture stick, and ever since I got it I’ve been using the heck out of it! This stick only has three ingredients: virgin coconut oil, beeswax, and matcha tea powder! All organic! It always makes me happy to know that what I’m putting on my skin is 100% organic, because I’m definitely guilty of using a lot of non-organic lotions and skin products. This 0.5-ounce stick cost $6.99 at Healthy Living (a healthfood store in my hometown!), which I know is a lot and I normally wouldn’t spend that much on a lip balm, but I did a lot of research on it and I’ve been wanting to try it for so long! It’s also a BIG lip balm, and I can use it on my dry skin as well as on my lips. It was a fun splurge!

Look at that green color! I already knew it was going to be green when I bought it because of all the reviews I’ve read, but it’s still pretty cool! It leaves no green color on your lips because of the coconut oil, and it also doesn’t feel too heavy! It’s super moisturizing, and it would be a great lip balm to wear under a lipstick. I was recently sick, more sick than I usually get, and my lips were VERY dry. I usually wear a ton of lip balm, but while I was sick I didn’t think to because I was so tired! As a result I had very, very dry lips, and this lip balm healed them within a matter of HOURS. I put it on in the morning, and by that afternoon my lips were moisturized and showed no signs of being as dry as they had been. The scent is also really nice! The matcha scent isn’t that strong, it mostly smells like the coconut oil and beeswax and maybe a tiny bit of matcha, but I don’t mind! It smells really natural, and I like that.

In conclusion- I totally recommend this balm to anyone with dry skin! It’s going to be really useful during the colder months. If you’re planning on travelling during the winter, this would be a great product to pick up to take with you, as it’s in a tube and won’t take up much space. There are literally no ‘cons’ I could find with this product. Five stars!
